Good afternoon families,

I wanted to say thank you for your support over these last few weeks as we prepared and conducted our full-scale safety drill.  Although we could not control the cold weather, your children were respectful and responsible for the entire day receiving compliments from all of our local law enforcement and Premiere Health for their behavior and attention the entire day.  Today was a day filled with a variety of emotions, but after completing the day we are all better for doing it.  District and building administrators will continue to meet with local law enforcement in our monthly safety meetings to discuss what safety looks like in our various buildings.  As always please let me know if you have questions or if your middle school student has any concerns.

Thank you for your support,

Mrs. Gover

Hello Northmont Families,

I am writing you today to ask for your help to ensure that our buses depart on time in the afternoon.  It is very important that our buses begin departing at 2:56 PM each day to complete their routes so that they make it to their assigned elementary schools on schedule.  We do not want our younger students to have to wait around at their respective elementary buildings because middle school students are failing to immediately board the buses after school.

If your student rides the bus home in the afternoon, please talk to them about the importance of boarding immediately after school.  We will start closing the bus doors this week at 2:56 PM.  We will initially work with students who struggle to make it on time, but chronic violators may face consequences.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Mrs. Gover
